After Action Reporter

Dear Diary,

Today I moved into a new house in the town of Sunset Valley! I’ve got a new job in the military and this is my first posting.  I hope I’ll do as well as dad, he loves the Navy, I’m sure that I will love the Navy too, and the Navy will love me! If only the damn dinosaurs would stop bothering me. Stop it, damn you, I know what you want and I won’t let you take it!

Ok, I’m back now, Diary, I had to go have a quick lie down while I used my teleepsychic defenses on the spirit dinosaurs. You know how it is, I don’t have to explain this stuff to you! Anyway, here’s a picture of my new house! It’s a little sparse, but it has everything I need. I even splashed out and bought a computer. Ok, so it’s second hand, but it is handy for practicing my writing.

Once I moved my stuff in I went off to say hello to the neighbors. I met a nice old man, can’t remember his name, but we got on real swell. We chatted a long time and I learned he’s retired and a bit of a loner! I thought he was trustworthy, and probably free of the influence of the Dinochiatrists, so I told him to Watch The Skies, as That’s Where They Come From.

I told him to watch the skies because I figured he deserved a warning, but I didn’t tell him anything else, I swear. It’s not yet time, he wouldn’t understand. But, perhaps in time, he could come to understand why it’s ever so important that we ALL watch the skies. I know you understand, Diary.

Anyway, I then went and introduced myself at the house across the street. I met a nice lady called Erin, it turns out she’s going to be my boss come Monday! Even so, I thought she was a pretty nice lady and we even had a little dance!

I didn’t stay long after introducing myself. I wanted to get up nice and early for my first day of work! Here’s a picture of me in my uniform on my first day! I hope this job is going to be great fun and that I’ll learn some useful skills that might be handy… later.

I was pretty disapointed when I discovered they won’t let me drive a ship or a plane or a tank right away. Instead, they wanted me to do paperwork and exercise! Silly! Don’t they know what’s coming!? There’s no time for this sort of thing! I responded in the only logical way I could, I went and met all the other soldiers and chatted to them. The boss didn’t seem to mind.

Oh, here’s a picture of work. I might mail Mom this picture, it’s a good one I think!

I’ve had a fun week so far. After work I’ve been spending a lot of time practicing my writing. Perhaps I could write some novels, what do you think, Diary? I also went on some paleontology forums and told them how they were Wrong and how Dangerous their False Ideas are. I don’t think they are going to like what I said, but I don’t mind! I like to see them squirm, haha!

This is a web-cam shot, Diary. The Dinos don’t like being filmed you see, it’s like Schroedinger’s Cat! As long as I constantly monitor myself I should be safe, at least for now.

Anyway, until next time, Diary. I have a hankering to go see if I can find a ghost and I should really go meet the rest of the neighbors. I’ll be sure to tell you all about it!
